We’ve answered some of our most frequently asked questions so you don’t have to go searching for answers. If you have a question that you can’t find the answer to, feel free to contact us and we can discuss further.

Storage

We have different sized storage units for different purposes. Our units start from 3.0 x 3.0 metres and range to 7.0 x 3.0 metres. We also have outdoor space for boats and caravans.

We don’t have lock-in contracts at Border Storage Units. Our flexible payment options allow you to pay as you go for as long as you need.

Our new storage units consist of concrete floors, steel frames, Colorbond walls and roof. Everything is designed to protect your storage from the elements.

Our units have a high ceiling and insulation on the inside of the roof to help regulate the temperature in hot and cold weather conditions.

We don’t recommend storing any items that are damp such as camping, clothing or perishable items.

Yes, you absolutely can! We have appropriately sized insulated units that keep your car safe and secure. 

We do not allow the following to be stored at Border Storage Units.

  • Hazardous or flammable materials
  • Unauthorised or illegal goods
  • Animals, plants or any perishable items

Security

We have CCTV 24/7, a security card gate system to enter and exit and a 2.4-metre high-security fence around the boundaries.

Border Storage Units is a completely safe facility. You will be allocated with a Property Manager who you can call should you have any concerns.

Access

You and only you have access to your goods. You are welcome to give others access but that is entirely at your discretion.

There are no extra costs to access your goods. You are able to access them 7 days a week during operational hours 6.00 am to 8.00 pm. 

You will be given an access card that lets you go in and out of the Border Storage Units’ facility.  

Insurance

Our insurance covers public liability only. You will need to have your own insurance for the goods that you have stored in the storage unit.

If you want your stored items to be insured, you will need to organise that with your own insurance provider. 

Removals for Storage

Border Storage Units has easy access with a well-lit road and truck access.

Once you book at Border Storage Units, you have complete access to the facility to transfer your goods in and out.

Payments

We bill month to month giving you flexible payment options. 

Direct debit, cash, EFT, cheque, Centrepay.

Our units range from $195 to $305 per month. Call or email us to get your competitive quote and learn more about our offerings. 

Packing

Pack anything you feel comfortable leaving in our insulated storage units.
